Second coming of Mrs Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

It is no longer news that former world bank president and one of Nigeria's most successful intellectual exports,Mrs Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has taken her oath of office for a "second term" as the country's finance minister and cordinator-in-chief of the economic team.

At the swearing in ceremony shortly before the federal executive council meeting yesterday in Abuja, the president and commander-in-chief Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan showered encomium on the new minister.
he went to recount how world leaders especially fellow african presidents applauded his foresight in appointing the former world banker into his cabinet.

Mixed fillings greeted news of her appointment. While some concur to the enthusiasm of our president in making the appointment others believe that she has no more magic to offer a population that is fast loosing faith in their leadership.
They argue that one of the reasons she fell out with her discoverer, former president Olusegun Obasanjo was because her cup of financial magic was fast was getting empty.
Personally i think it is too early in the day to pass judgement on her renewed mandate but i believe that she will have to work extra to gain the confidence of her fellow cabinet members in paticular and Nigerians in general.

Readers please kindly give a feedback on your candid opinion with regards to her second coming into the federal executive council.
